SwapTesters ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by SwapTesters.

By accessing or using our Service, you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to our collection, storage, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

  • Name: To display on your profile.
  • Profile Picture: To display on your profile.
  • User ID: A unique identifier provided by Google/Firebase.

B. Usage Data & Analytics

We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect data on how you interact with our app. This includes:

  • Device model and operating system version.
  • Session duration and features used.
  • Crash logs and performance data.

C. User-Generated Content

When you publish an app for testing, we collect:

  • App Details: App Name, Description, Package Name, and Google Play URL.
  • App Icons: Uploaded images are stored securely using Supabase Storage.

D. Sensitive Permissions & Installed Packages

Why we request QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission: SwapTesters is a "Review and Testing Exchange" platform. To ensure fairness and prevent fraud, we must verify that a user has actually installed the specific app they claim to be testing.

  • We use the android.permission.QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission strictly to verify the installation status of the specific package ID provided in the test campaign.
  • We do not store, share, or analyze your full list of installed apps for any other purpose.
  • This check happens locally on your device or via a direct verification query only when you attempt to claim a reward for testing an app.

2. Third-Party Services

We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

  • To facilitate our Service;
  • To provide the Service on our behalf;
  • To perform Service-related services; or
  • To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google AdMob: To display advertisements. AdMob may use cookies and unique device identifiers to serve personalized ads.
  • Google Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Analytics): For authentication, database management, and usage analysis.
  • Supabase: For storing uploaded app icons.
  • Google Play Billing: To process In-App Purchases securely. We do not store your financial details (credit card numbers) on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Manage your account and coin/diamond balance.
  • Verify app installations to prevent system abuse.
  • Facilitate the "swap" mechanism (showing your app to other testers).
  • Process transactions for Diamonds and Coins.

5. Security of Your Data

The security of your data is important to us. We use industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) and secure database rules (Firebase Security Rules & Supabase Policies) to protect your information. However, remember that no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
